Hi All,
I just want to post as a warning to all considering Aeonova as a fiber service provider.
The infrastructure they use is flawed from the start and their service to resolve issues is horrible. Revere to the thread: "https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/aeonova360-fibre.865782/page-2" for the same issues I experienced (At least he resolved his issue within a month).
My story and question(s) follows:
Our Estate (Arundo In Centurion) received a fiber installation from these guys that went live last year around June/July (2018).
Since receiving fiber from them (They are also my ISP "A360") i have had multiple issues from them (Starting 2 months after activation);
First I had multiple disconnects per day (Which They resolved only around two months after complaining every week)
Then my ping started to degrade to the point where gaming is not possible (very high jitter);
Now for the last month I can only achieve 30% (MAX) of my line speed (100/100) in peak times; mostly I get only around 7-15mbps in peak time. For the last issue I am complaining daily and they are keeping very quite on what is wrong (I have suggested multiple times that it can ONLY be congestion as it effects peak time traffic).
My question is as follows:
Since Aeonova installed the fiber (Which uses Metro Fiber as a infrastructure); Would it be beneficial to shift to another ISP (Away from A360); And would the other ISP's be able to do anything regarding congestion on the fiber installation?
@Level7 : I would love to use Level-7 again (I dont think they are a ISP on Aeonova anymore though); as Level-7 had the best customer support for their WISP (Which I had with them for years).
