"affordable" 802.11ac WiFi APs?

Hi everyone,

Do you know where I could find 802.11ac/n WiFi AP's that doesn't cost like R2k+ ?

I don't want to buy an expensive 802.11n WiFi AP now while 802.11ac is already available.
Currently the cheapest 802.11ac router that I could find is the Linksys EA6500 @ ~R2k

At this moment I have a TP-Link WR841ND, running DD-WRT, but I'm having wireless issues with my Samsung Galaxy S2 (where the first connection never works) and Macbook Air (which stops functioning and cannot reconnect until I restart the AP).

Update:
I see Uniterm Direct has the TP-Link AC1750 for like R1700 (incl VAT), but I'm questioning its compatibility and performance

Unfortunately that router didn't get good user reviews, but then again, the Linksys EA6500 didn't receive that many great reviews either.

It's apparently the same chipset as the 2013 Airport Extreme.

Local support is overrated.

I would just snipe bid on one of the better models to get the thing as cheap as possible, if price is a priority. Tech is always a gamble. But so far I've always been lucky and things tend to fail, after the warranty ends anyway.
