Absolutely. Just remember you have to activate the FREE GB in ClientZone. Once active it's available as long as you have a capped product :)

Mweb is falling behind after CEO Rudi Jansen left. Cancelled three uncapped Mweb accounts in the last month for unshaped unthrottled capped Axxess accounts. The speed is simply amazing.

Awesome!! Glad that your Axxess experience is rocking. It's an acceptable second prize to having you with us.

Axxess have their own product and shaping rules, so it is a very different experience. They also set their own prices, so we don't know what they have in store for their clients :)
 
Now we're talking, Afrihost! :D

This is the kind of pricing scale that works best for me. A couple of questions now:

1) those of us who have the 10+1 @ R99 special, do we get this too, or do we have to drop those packages in favour of the new options?

2) will these new prices be permanent for those who sign up or is it only a temporary promotion?
 
This is why Afrihost has been my favorite ISP since 2009.Always shaking up the market!!

If the plus one if your normal Free GB, that is not included. If it was a special product, it should double up. If not, PM me and we'll take a look. As far as I know all packages double up :)
 
Now it is just the 100GB that you get after hours on the RedAfrica product that prevents me from switching to Afrihost as the main ISP account.
 
I remember Afrihost's old 10gig+1gig free for R100pm back in the day when Telkom was only offering 6gigs back then. The quality of a capped product is still superior to uncapped until this day and I wouldn't mind 4gigs for R29 as a backup to flaky uncapped ADSL :)

Those accounts are quite rare! 30GB + 100GB after hours for R199 was a steal imo.

I would like to migrate from the 10+1@R99 to the 25+25@R289 offer. Do I need to cancel and then sign up for the new deal or can I migrate the existing account?

Looks like an ommission on our pricing rollout. Should be fixed soon.

If you want to be 100% sure of what you're signing up, go via the website. It will be the same in terms of data allocated, so no biggie :)

No, you can just upgrade the account in ClientZone, and you'll get double the normal pro-rata for 25GB :)
 
Awesome news. Afrihost FTW, again!

My clientzone still shows 15GB - do I need to upgrade to the 30GB package or will it be done automatically?
