The question around compensation has been answered many times in this thread, I'm afraid that's still something I don't have control over.

I sincerely hope (for Afrihost's sake) that these upgrades arrive before the 25th.. Otherwise you're going to lose a lot of customers.

I'm really hoping so!
There are no confirmed timelines at this stage though - the moment there's any kind of estimate I'll keep you guys posted though.

On another topic, what kind of support do you guys offer for Static IP's?

I need to get a static IP for my PBX and would like a router as soon as possible!

As long as the router is capable of L2TP you're good to go :)
If you're hunting for a router I can recommend the Billion BiPAC 7402GX.

Yeah, but no one in CPT has stock :(

They have the 7402NX which is apparently the same with an extra antenna and better wifi signal
but the soonest I can get one is on Tuesday

Really? So you support Mikrotiks? Last I tried this I was told that you had to support L2TP without IPSEC or something to that effect?

As long as it supports L2TP tunnelling it should be all good, I think there may even be a config for our static IPs, for the Mikrotick around MyBB somewhere.

Really? As in top management? If so, then I apologise as I am wrong. Not on twitter or facebook so wouldn't know these things.

Yeah, you can talk to the CEO of Sony, Microsoft, whoever on it. Doesn't mean they will respond to you but you can try.
