Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback - 2

And this is the real issue, the Management of Afrihost don't make any official statement, or commitments to customers, don't offer any compensation for poor service. This is really ruining your companies reputation, really an odd way to conduct a business.

Any feedback they've given has been via AfriMan and myself.

Unfortunately just one of my customers has an account for R7000,00+ per month - cannot just chop and change since there'll be no guarantee of refund. Will have to wait until the 25th and decide then. I have however recommended to spread the risk across multiple ISPs instead moving forward which is under consideration so as to avoid this at least with the 1TB or so of capped data.

That is being dumb. Put the cancellation in now, and uncancel it performs better before the 25th.

As long as people are paying for the service, they are agreeing that they are happy with what is being delivered.

I really think I should open up a take away, charge you full price for a burger and then just give you an old roll and a stick of butter. South Africans will be lapping that up, and even though people would be unhappy I would still have a very long line of customers coming back every day.

And if it's not fixed by the 25th it will be cancelled. I cannot just cancel services of customers - I have their mandates and will act on it accordingly. My personal account/own business accounts moved 2 weeks ago.

But soon is not enough. If your management can send out emails about double data, and competitions, they should do the same in cases like this. This matter has been managed very poorly, and I am not talking about the Afrihost chaps on the forums.

Yeah! Stop telling him what to do, what are you his mother?

I can understand where you're coming from, I think we've learnt a lot from this. The hard way. Which isn't always a bad thing ;)

Don't think you can use the "we've learnt a lot from this" when its the umpteenth time you are having the same problem.

I honestly think the situations have varied.
Regardless, we've coming out of this :) Good news for a Friday I'd say.

Very good . You proved as a company that you don't have a clue what you are doing .

Capacity is something that's always being planned for - it couldn't be confirmed as it was still under negotiation :(

And always too late.... I guess this is where you now start blaming Telkom - the easy way out.

Again, it's not something that could have been confirmed sooner as the upgrades were still under negotiation.

"Where" refers to a question about a location of something, such as: "Where is our table?"
"Were" is the plural form of "was." For example:"I WAS at the concert last night. We WERE there all together with my friends."

You are a representative, please be a bit of a grammar nazi.
