AH, doing some testing on YouTube - starts at 2.5 mbps then drops and buffers constantly. Can't update from google play store at all.

Very odd, I just watched a trailer (this looks awesome btw) and it streamed at 1080p without a hitch. What's your DNS currently set to?

Well that trailer plays quite well actually. Running at about 2.1 mbps - won't go higher. Am I right to assume that I should be able to play it in 1080p on my 4 mbps line?

Using AH dns - router set to get from isp.
And yes, the trailer is pretty good.

The video will be playing nicely then throughput would drop to 0 and then climb again and drop and climb again etc

Updates from google play store jumping between 0 and 1 mbps. Not consistent nor anywhere near what I used to get before Feb this year.

Ny speeds jumping around line this is an every night story between 6 and 10 pm.

Mine runs down at 7.5Mbps, 10Mbps line. Not sure if a 4Mbps can stream 1080p content, probably safer on 720p.
Could you try Google's DNS please?

Google dns has not improved anything - if anything, it feels even worse.

Is this just YouTube that's the problem or the overall experience?

Everything is affected.
Highest speeds I can get is on p2p at about 250 KB/s max - http downloads are even slower than this.

That'll explain the poor YouTube experience. Drop me a PM with your line number and I can have things checked out.

Thank you.
Will also send some results from last night when my speeds were terrible as well.
