The lines are in 2 different cities and they both have the exact same issue.

But heartbroken.

You don't understand.

High demand can cause this. A fluid dynamic such as customer usage of their network is difficult to plan for in totality. Your experience is completely unique, and you don't have the insight they do.

The problem is you are not only browsing 80Kb html sites on port 80. Change your demand. Don't expect what you are paying for.

Weirdly I'm getting good speeds P2P? Gonna run that afrihost tester thing and see

I'll say it again same as I said when we first had the IPC Capacity Issue a few months back.
Why does it not show on your website that there is currently a problem?

I will wait it out till the IPC is upgraded but surely for new clients they should know that currently on their business account they might be * Managed *

We are seeing much better results at the moment, along with the upgrades that are on the way everything will be returning to normal really soon :)

Because Afrihost knows if they actually admit they are shaping, they have to refund money.

Loading up Google Drive and OneDrive today has been a bit iffy and required multiple refreshes to get content to show. HTTP download of a podcast came through at ~50Kb/s today without using a download manager. Testing torrent speeds reveal that things are well under 1Kb/s. I haven't played any online games since I got back from rAge, but I imagine it's okay for the most part.

Eish. I hope things pull together before Telkom closes network upgrades for the holiday season, otherwise things are going to get really, really bad.

Thanks for the feedback!
We're pushing as hard as possible to get the upgrades online ASAP. As soon as a date materialises I'll let you guys know :)

Very different results here o.0
The 2nd test looks fine, does it slowly degrade into the results showing the high latency on the exchange?

This is a long shot, but do you have any iOS devices on your network?

I had this problem when the devices were uploading data to iCloud which completely killed the line. Turned sync to iCloud off completely and problem was gone for good.

It was fine one minute, then spiked to 1000, then down, then 2000, then down, then 4000 and now it seems fine again for the time being.

I only have Android devices. I'm sure their backup sync isn't going to take up 100% of the upload, though... right?

It doesn't seem like it should be a problem with uploading, though. I use Google Drive and Dropbox all the time and they absolutely annihilate the upload while only making the ping worsen by ~80ms.

3 Weeks of constant issues and I am a new client. Sorry to say, but where do you cancel the service?

Since 10 this morning I have had no connectivity. I have restarted my router 3 times. I am currently connecting on my 3G stick. Dem this was a frustrating 3 weeks!

Dropbox on my laptop owned my home DSL connection, could be that.
Fingers crossed you won't see those results again!
