P2P is still broken. Overall speeds less than ideal. Why does Afrihost have a green light next to DSL in their network status?

Gaming is always given highest priority and we should always see gaming getting the lowest possible latency.

We've been investigating ArchAge and Destiny because of quite a few reports of poor gaming performance. If there are other games that are also not performing, we'll need to test them as well :(

Getting frequent server timeouts on emails, RDP sucks, trying to watch training videos on YouTube is pointless. I am trying to run an online business here, thought I was paying for a business account?

I am cancelling 2 lines and 1 business uncapped and 1 capped account next week if this does not improve. Might even cancel the mobile account as well, just to prove my point.

Mobile is the only thing that seems to be working... so perhaps do not cut off your nose to spite your face... just yet. AH cares not.

Well, mobile is working, unless you keep hitting the capped issue.

This IPC crap should never recur as often as it does... once should have been enough, lessons should have been learned.

Have you run any tests with our team to determine any other potential issues?
 
Anyone else notice a sudden crash from 2min ago? Went from 300kB/s down to 35kB/s

Diablo 3 is still giving the high pings. Had constant 1000ms pings this morning. Have had to switch to Axxess acount where I'm getting pings of 400 with occasional spikes to 900.

I know some changes had been pushed out late last night for Destiny, are you still seeing high latency today?

This is for Diablo 3. And yes, still getting the high latency. Up to 13:00 had constant 1000ms ping. Switched to an Axxess capped account and while the pings aren't perfect, it's at least playable unlike on Afrihost at the moment.

P2P still dead. Http downloading at half speed. Youtube can barely stream 480p. Waiting for the month to pass is going to be strenuous indeed.
 
Streaming. Having to buffer 480p on a 4meg line is why I left Openweb (Ok granted with them I'd have to buffer 240p, but still)

I'm in Pretoria East

Streaming should be pretty solid, IPC graphs look good for the region.
What's your latency like?
