Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback - 2

It could be due to the overall throughput, if you've been able to streaming full HD previously you'll be able to once our upgrades are on board.

Edit Sorry, I see you're in DBN - shouldn't be any issues with streaming, the upgrades have already been implemented there.

This is a worry. Sounds like the extra capacity won't even be enough if and when it arrives...

I'd prefer to have some tests run to see what issue is first, it does look like there's sufficient capacity available in the East.

Haven't used internet all day today but when I have, seemed fine, normal almost. Tonight I'll be streaming so will testing to see if I have same streaming issues as last night.

This has gone beyond dissapointing, beyond frustrating, beyond being pissed off, beyond giving a damn about doing any more tests with this uselessness...

How are things looking on your end this evening?

Youtube is shocking.

This is my business account...

Same Video 2 minutes apart.

Is this what I should expect? Like, is this normal for now or am I being affected a little differently?

Edit: I don't want to leave again. Its a mission. I just want to know when it will be sorted.
Luckily I have another account that works but I just want to know when it will be sorted.
I think we can all agree that when it works it works well but this is getting a bit ridiculous now.

Speed is in the toilet again this evening. Heavy packet loss. Websites not loading correctly. Have reset a few times, with no joy.
All other ISP accounts are FLAWLESS on the same 10Mb line :wtf:

I was getting pretty decent performance until this evening. Can't stream anymore.. Free Webafrica account isn't any better though, interestingly enough

Durban IPC is having a tough time. Jumping between 20 and 285ms.

Packet loss is crazy

Don't forget that Afrihost are now "re-calibrating" their network in the east and "optimizing" it now, again, since the upgrade... to "get the best performance levels" which means see-saw experiences until they have finished fiddling and monitoring.

Maybe, but it is going the wrong way - since the "upgrade" I have the worse throughput ever. Trying to run a business with this crap does not work - even email fail to be sent/received.

I am in PM with Afriguy, but nothing seems to work, I can handle problems, but packet loss is killing me. Half the time webpages fail to load.
