Sometimes when I disconnect and reconnect to my account speeds are better for a little while.

This happened with our previous 3 routers as well. We then bought our current one from Afrihost, the Netgear DGN2200v4 and it still happens... The performance just drops after a short while.

It should do yes, do you perhaps have another ISP account to double check with? I know you've already tested with the Telkom guest account.

Edit Just to add here, we have zero control over latency or how latency behaves on the 2nd hop. Before traffic even reaches IPC, it runs via your DSLAM and then the BRAS.

Would be interesting to see if the results differ. I'll test Axxess afer WA and then I'm again going to test the Afrihost Capped account and then back to Business Uncapped. Testing the account after connecting and then an about 1 hour 20 minutes later

So i registered for a1gig free capped account with Afrihost.
Best speeds i have had in ages.
Download Speed: 3.51 mbps
Upload Speed: 0.42 mbps

Also something i am just sitting thinking about - when doing a speedtest on my business account, the speed would jump around quite erratically whereas on the test account, the speed remains almost still. Mmmmmmm........
