Running beautifully since around 6pm.
Thanks AH.

Once again your network fails miserably.
When is this **** getting sorted? Oh yes, "soon", right?

After yet another reboot and 10pm on a Sunday night, it is slightly better:

Cancellation button in Clientzone has been clicked, so long and thanks for all the fish...

Watching some youtube on my 1Meg when all of a sudden my quality automatically changes to 720P and I see the stats for nerds confirms it.

Dont let this be once in a blue moon, make this happen 24/7.

I think the issue here is that the service is erratic -

Its not a Telkom issue, but probably to do with whatever optimisation AH are working on.

Granted, my speeds are MUCH better, but seems to be erratic - (pc wired to router as opposed to over WiFi)

AH - you still have some issues to iron out.

Same here.... bouncing around most of the weekend, and even more so this morning.
I can only get full speed if I use a multi-threaded downloader, and even then it is erratic as can be :(

I can also confirm that my speeds have also been very erratic this last week end. Granted - speeds are much better. But it fluctuates worse than my wife's mood.

And things look like they are up the creek again this morning. 11ms 0.87Mbps down and 0.93Mbps Up on 20MB VDSL. Sunninghill JHB.

20 MB business line is so slow again this morning I cannot even run a Speedtest. Took about 2 mins for MyBroadband to open.

So let's hear it Afrihost. What's the excuse today?

I think its fair to say that we have exhausted the ''Telkom'' excuse.

Internet crap again on my side...
Local and international

Me too in Cape Town... once again, it hits 09:30 EXACTLY and speed is reduced to 25% Max.... and now bouncing around. Having trouble accessing web sites, speed tests don't even want to start (international), latency slowly increasing with each passing moment.

Soooo..... in other words... another week, and more of the same :(
Must be MONDAY

Morning Guys!

My apologies for the slow start today, we are a man down, and I am working through all of the Threads Man Alone.

The Network Management Software appears to be finally allocating the correct bandwidth to most of our users.

Over on the Capped Thread, I am seeing quite a reduction in the number of users experiencing Slow Speeds - there does however appear to be one or two problematic areas still.

If you still seeing slow speeds on your connection can I ask that you post your speed test results along with your line speed and region.

Afriman when i reboot my router why is the DNS servers 196.43.46.190, 196.43.42.190 and not 196.7.7.7 and 196.7.8.9.

If I dont manually change it barely loads images.

Hi!

I just wanted to check with you, is your modem still pulling 196.43.46.190 and 196.43.42.190 as the default DNS Servers?
