It's getting a bit annoying with my business line, youtube buffering really slow, pokerstars timing out, ipad online games losing connection, pages not opening at times or very slow. What is going on again, it's like this for the last week or two on an off, it's irritating. I feel like I have to move to some other provider.
Sounds like a line issue. Please would you run this tool and post results here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/576445-quot-Help-me-fix-my-internet-quot-report-tool
I would but am on OSX.
How did I knowI was just posting it and I thought "... this guy's username sounds OSX"
Anyway, just open terminal and type trace route google.co.za - then post results here please

Haha I dunno what it was I just kind of had a feelingYour second hop looks quite high which means there's exchange congestion present :/ you'll have to contact afrihost/telkom and report a line fault

Isn't 46.768 lower than 49.774? It seems like the second hop is lower than some of the other readings.
Yup - That means that the issue is intermittent
Sorry? Now I'm confused![]()

Do you know any of your neighbors? You surely shouldn't be the only one affected.

Dude - I really think you need to try another router. Cant you get one from a friend, for like 1 hour, so that you may test?
