I'm alright with waiting, just want to know how things are progressing.
We're waiting for Telkom to give us an official ETA, we don't have any indication at this point. Judging by past experience, delivery can vary. Also, we've ordered a substantial amount so they may be importing the components.

Ugh, im getting such bad speed and latency in games, please say its telkoms and not Afrihosts fault, I really like AH and im not keen on moving to a another ISP AGAIN.
We're not seeing general latency at the moment, demand is dying down as people log off and head home for Phuza Friday.
When did you run these tests?
16:40 as the test shows.
That 2nd hop don't look good, it indicates dslam/exchange congestion usually.

How are "All systems are performing within specified parameters"?? Seriously AH, can you at least say "Telkom done ****ed it up" on your website because there IS a problem with the network.
I am in KZN, and have not had a single problem for a few months, might be your exchange, copper or modem.....

Copper is good, with 22dB downstream SNR and 32dB Line Attenuation.
Modem is perfect.
As an Afrihost client (at home - we resell IS and MWeb at work) for the last 3 years I just wanted to say that I have had no major issues to date and their service has been impeccable!
Add to that the competative pricing - I could not be happier
(I figured with all the flack they get it was only fair to hear from a happy customer)

What speed you syncing at, and what speed profile are you on?
And do you sync using G.DMT or ADSL2+ Modulation?
According to your stats, you are about 2.3KM away from the DSLAM/IMAX
Those readings are acceptable or average, but the higher speed you sync at the more strain is placed on your line.
