Does anyone else have issues with No-IP not updating on Afrihost adsl ?
It can be something my side , but I have tried with firewall disabled, changing DNS etc

Cape Town IPC broken again?

Looks like there might be an issue. We had some reporting issues last night, but this looks different from the latencies on traces we're running. Got our guys investigating urgently :(

Will post feedback when I have it.

Yep, our office capped account also buggered.

Good thing it's only a backup route.

Latency is a little crazy right now. We're establishing whether we've lost IPC or whether there is a network peering problem. Waiting for feedback from MTN right now :(

From the Plug Uncapped thread.

"Some of IS' IPC links in Cape Town are currently down; they have been reported to SAIX and currently waiting on feedback.

You might experience some packet loss & increased latency if you find yourself connecting from the Cape region.

No ETA at this stage."

Yeah, same issue with us - Telkom are telling us IPC links are down. Something pretty weird about it though, but we're waiting for more feedback from Telkom at the moment :(
