Afrihost Business Uncapped Feedback

Odd, I googled Ssl_error_rx_record_too_long and it only returned Firefox references. I would assume if it wasn't the client there would be other references.

In Opera I get nothing, just a blank page... Internet Explorer does not stop loading, and goes round and round and round. Firefox gives that error.

EDIT: Maybe it is an Incredible Connection ISP thing...

Working fine here from Chrome on iPad and Firefox on Windows Server here.

How is that related to the IPC? Does it store keys?

How is a broken client zone related to IPC? What's your point?

The error can be caused by misconfigured servers too - not only browser issues. If multiple servers are in a farm, it could be one server in the farm that is misconfigured...

Wow. I leave the forum for a few days and accounts are getting cancelled. I was just coming to check if there was any update on the IPC that was not an issue ( was told there's no IPC issue at the time ). But wow. I think I've read all I need to...

In reference to :

TBH I think there are issues that we are not being told about not just IPC

The other regions don't seem to be having issues.

Thanks, but wouldn't that mean PE customers are affected too? Are there any PE customers here having issues?

I'm 80km outside PE.
My 4Mbps Home uncapped was/is pretty bad.

I changed to 2Mbps Business late in March.
It was even worse than my Home account and I changed 2 days later back to the Home uncapped.

Since the 26th I've mostly used the other ISP's.

Today I've changed back to my AH Home uncapped in anticipation of the expected IPC on the 10th.

4Mbps speedtest gave me 300 - 613kbps dl, the same speed I received on the Business account.

Needless to say that all other accounts I've used gave me full speed.

There seems to be a lot riding on the 10th then. I really hope it improves for you guys.

Seems I was wrong - sorry :) South goes up to PE - Durban is East. However, seems the East is ALSO due for a upgrade which is MIA as well...

Demand seems pretty high in the East at the moment - so we could be seeing more contention than usual. Remember, we also have additional capacity on order for the East - so we're waiting on Telkom's delivery :(

As far as I know this should be in the same time frame as the general upgrade for the South as well. They probably won't arrive on the same day, but hopefully both before Greg's estimated date of the 10th.

Guess before the 10th didn't happen if you guys are still having issues up there... Gives me warm fuzzy feelings when I think about non delivery in the south on the 10th!

Well I'm still waiting for 10mbps speeds on my exchange so I can upgrade, I'm hoping Afrihost beats them.
