My 8Mb/s business account has flown like the MH370 since March. Grahamstown is 130km East of Port Elizabeth and tracerts to anywhere go through the Cape Town IPC.

I wonder if a hasty tweak to the clientzone was needed to prevent jeanres from repeatedly reactivating his account.

Gotta say, I am still happy with my AH account ..... No issues on my side.

Having said that, I completely sympathise with customers who simply don't get the internet experience they expect.
I have had this with my last two ISps and i would be the first to admit, I trolled ten kinds of cr@p out of them to voice my displeasure.

I hope this all comes right with the new capacity.

Sorry to hear that your Afrihost account is not performing. Which region are you in?

TBH I don't want to re-activate it

Well, good luck with you future ISP adventures. I guess I will be sticking with Afrihost as long as the IPC upgrade pans out... and if I can avoid getting cancelled. Full speed on my account after 5/6 weeks of rubbish will probably brighten my mood and my now tarnished opinion of Afrihost.

I can only assume the developers have had to put some form of emergency functionally in to ease such a process in future. :P

Because beware.... they will cancel your account for expressing your views on a open forum which they have no ownership of.

Ye, I am hoping the IPC upgrade goes as planned. If so i will be sticking around as well, unless my opinion/views have gotten my name into a little black book ;)

My little book is red ;)

Hoping so too - know there are a few clients that could use some awesome internet again :)
