We don't force anyone to use our DNS but we do recommend it for best performance. We find that external DNS like Unotelly, OpenDSN, etc perform differently with different services. It totally up to you though

Would it be possible to give a expected date? Soon, sooner has been going on for a while now. If Axxess can have this already, what is the delay?

I hope within the next 4 weeks, I have sent my Mweb Cancellation through last month.....
Otherwise I will have to use Axxess... Which I really don't want to do, I would prefer all my services be under one account.

Have to say I agree. I was so used to issues with my previous ISP I just started to assume it was the norm.
Nearly 2 weeks in with my Afrihost Business Uncapped 6mbps and zilch, zero, squat issues.
Such a pleasure giving them my money

Yeah, Afrihost is awesome. And on a sidenote, MTN is the only mobile provider that gives 10+Mbps at my dad's house, and his crappy MTN data contract is going to end soon. I think my dad is going to like Afrihost even more than I do soon.
I'm contemplating moving to a 4mb business account and wanted to know if everybody is still happy with their accounts.
My normal usage is around 200-250Gb a month, but I need a stable connection for online play (sometimes before 17:00) in the week.
Does anybody have any experience with the same usage and performance for online play in business hours?

I'm on the 4Mbps business account and I can confirm that it's unshaped 24/7. Gaming works well at any time.

Will we need a special router to use the static IP address? I have just purchased a netgear N750 premium router, and it has a place to specify a fixed ip address, is this all I need to do once the IP addresses are assigned?

I don't want a static IP with my account, hopefully it will be something optional.
We don't have confirmation whether IPSEC will be supported. Will check on this and report back
