Cost R50 per month for the fixed IP, so much for being free

Ok I cannot find any place that actually stocks that billion bull****.
This will annoy a lot of Afrihost business users who have been waiting and now need to pay extra unlike Axxesss.
Agreed. It was not clearly communicated in any of the material I've seen. I suggest you update the website to reflect this Afriman.
We haven't communicated a whole lot around the static IP's thoughSorry if we've built anyones expectations up around this, it was never the intention to do so. We'll have things published on our website as soon as we launch and it's made all official.
Still madness that this is a paid for addon. Looking at the specs for the Billion, the Netgear has the same features so it should work.
I've been monitoring this thread as this business account has always been cheap enough to be considered for power users.
It's funny though that people are complaining at 50bucks extra on a business account.
I actually think it's a great thing as those, like me, that just want a power user account, without having to pay for fixed IPs(or have it built into the cost), can get what we want, and those that need fixed IPs can pay for it.
Best solution to keep everyone happy.
I agree that it shouldn't be forced on anyone, but I do think that it should either be free or something like R20pm. Most people are better off with dynamic IP's, as you can circumvent bans on websites with a fresh IP address and because your online presence is more secure if your 'address' keeps changing.
