They keep saying 4mb - even TelkomZA - but ja, I've given up with 10210, so if you can find that mail, that would be great :)
 
Feels like I'm starting to beat a dead horse. 5 days later and still no line sync change.

The last 3 of which I've been trying to convince AH support that my exchange does, in fact, support a sync speed higher than 4096.

Try asking them to force it to a 10Meg Sync, and see what happens :)
 
Telkom will never update the Clarich exchange :( been asking them for 20 and 40mbps for a while now

I think this exchange has been doomed from the start :( It saw quite a big upgrade from what I can remember a few years ago, not sure if those upgrades are still proving sufficient now though.
We'll have to wait for Telkom to announce VDSL in the area though, looks like all the JHB peeps seem to be getting majority of the fun ;)

It's unfair we are in the Claremont CBD and no vdsl
 
This account just keeps on impressing me.

Torrenting and Youtubing and TeamViewering all at the same time.

The days Dropbox updates are ALL done as well.
My work day ends at 4:30PM now instead of 7PM.

This is the best ISP move I have ever made. :love:

Aaaand... to think I was about to replace my modem and router 2 weeks ago,
as the other ISP could find no fault with their under-performing account!

These are some of the reasons why AH Business is awesome :D
 
I cancelled this service in december, pending the 1meg line speed upgrades. Now that mine has finally happened, i definetely want to reactivate it.

However, will I need to get the 2meg line one? Or will I download at max speed if I get the 1meg line account? Will the 1meg uncapped line account be bumped up to 2 megs at some point?

It has already, but AH are still offering the 1MB Bundle till things are sorted with telkom. Just sign up for a 2Mbps account :)

Greetings :)

The Uncapped accounts are rate limited to speed, so if you have a 1Mbps Business account on a 2Mbps line it'll only ever reach it's maximum 1Mbps.

Apart from the slight hiccups now and then (nowhere near as bad as they were), the line is running fine.

Cases of Bells to Afrihost. I'll consider one bottle of Bells for Hellscum for taking so damn long to fix things.
