Second day of speeds flying like a boeing thats drunken a red bull

For the last week I have had severe latency issues with my account. Also disconnections that stay disconnected for about 7 hours. I am currently disconnected now, and service support is down, and live chat is offline, the turnaround time on an email support request is about 5 hours, most of the time I get a reply after 11pm.
I have sent Afriguy a couple of private messages and not a peep from him either.

My kids like to use their iPads and some of the games need to have an internet connection, however even though I'm connected they can't even play, as they are getting timeouts.

I was told in one email to go onto saix.net to speedstest.........lol page wouldn't even load.

Absolutely horrendous service, from them and also not having my internet connection up is harming my ability to do my work, especially over the weekend.

Themba, and Chris said they reset and resynced my line, and all would be ok, when I pressed them and asked what they found wrong, they said nothing they could see.

Here I am on Sunday afternoon, no support available and I have no connection.

Great job Afrihost

Lucky lucky fish!

I have had to use backups accounts for weeks now... insane packet loss and latency spikes on my AH Business Account.

I suspended last month's cancellation and I am waiting for the miracle of the 10th to occur, if no improvement before the 23rd, so long AH.

I'll be honest its only the last two days its been like this.

Probably lucky here too. No issues, been flying since Aug 2013. However which I could say the same about our area being a non-priority/non-service area for telkom. What you have is what you have here...

There is hope!

I left it updating some Origin and Steam stuff from 12am to 8am this weekend... so it is perhaps useable during these times, but useless otherwise.

Grab a test account from Mweb or Axxess or even a free 1GB+1GB account from WebAfrica, give it a couple of hours or days tests, and then see. I was told the same thing, but test accounts saved my sanity and proved that it was ONLY my AH that was borked, not my line nor my exchange.

thanks

webafrica

edit:
definitely getting a consistently better speed from webafrica
If I wanted to deal with telkom I would`ve gotten them as my ISP
Maybe I should, at least they can`t say "call telkom"

Abysmal again tonight. Barely getting 1/4 speed, and any streaming is stutter-top-start-and-buffer. The new IPC capacity can't come soon enough.
