Could be the demand on the North IPC at the moment.
Was the account performing OK this morning?

So you have demand in the North, South and East, what exactly is being done to remedy the problem, cause whatever you guys are doing right now isn't working, it's making things worse..

I know things aren't great at the moment, we've got our best and brightest working around the clock to have this sorted out.

Lol, bring to jhb please havent downloaded a meg all day :D hope it gets sorted soon

What would be cool is if we were shown a video of them "working" just to see that they are actually doing something.

Almost like "the day in the life of a ISP engineer".

That would be interesting, as nothing they seem to be doing is working, surely management can see they need to act now instead of trying this and that, as an example: if you have a small pipe no matter what you do, you can only get so much water through it, wake up guys! All you are doing is ruining your reputation, why are you trying to save costs, and in the end have no clients. Since the MTN take over things have really gone downhill. Then they don't give refunds as well, lovely way to run a business.

In any other country this would not be tolerated but we have limited options and they are fully aware of this.

Management have been acting, we're not taking this very lightly at all :(
I'm sure we'll have a solution here really soon.

3rd World business uncapped, thanks, my internet looks like a dialysis machine, instead of saying you guys are working on fixing the problem why not explain in a bit more detail what exactly is being done, your answers typical of every other ISP, it's sad.

You will never ever get this out of them. This same **** happened with last year's IOS update.. Only recovered after capacity increase. So yeah...

I know it's not great at the moment, and we definitely need to make some changes. We're always tweaking and improving wherever we can.
Speeds and everyones overall experience will return to normal soon.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to get someone from your "untouchable" management to give an explanation on this forum as to what the problem is and when it will be fixed. Let me emphasize that AH have not given a reason for the problem (other than the long passed IOS update) or an estimated time for resolution. Got an email from Gian last night telling me how great AH was and how I should drop in for coffee and "meet the team".

Well. Here is an open invitation as I would love to meet him face to face as I have tried to do in the past without any success. You name the time and I will be there. No restrictions at all. Just post the time on this forum and there may be a few more attendees.

Guess this will get the usual "management don't talk to customers" response but at least it will be in the public view. I see a serious class action building. This is unacceptable!!!!

Dude, this will never happen. We have been asking for the same thing for years... Aint gonna happen.

Like I said - with little bit of effort and a group effort you would be amazed at what can happen. If there is no response from management I am willing to drive this forward. Watch this space.

We're being as transparent as possible, I'd love to post more info - I don't have it I'm afraid :(
I'm sure we'll get some more insights once everything has settled.

As for meeting the team, you're more than welcome to. I'm not sure how easy it would be to organise a sit down with Gian though, he's a pretty busy man. Our team even battle to schedule time with him.

Sorry for you. This being "as transparent as possible" sounds as though there is something that you and your experts are fully aware of but are not telling us. It also seems that most of your customers also know where the problem lies but you continue to refuse to acknowledge it. Read the last few hundred posts. I note that you have again chosen to refuse to give an explanation for the problem!!!! You have also not given a date for the resolution of this problem.

I did try to "meet the team" by driving to your head office and that was a disaster. Firstly I was told very clearly that "management do not speak to customers" and after being repeatedly assured for 2 hours that your critical care agent was on his way to see me he suddenly disappeared and had "left the building". I call that "don't care". Contact me on the forum if you would like to investigate this further. No PM's!!

We are all busy people and some of us are being severely impacted by the current service being delivered but my offer remains open to meet with Gian and any other interested parties.

I do however take exception to being spammed by Gian telling me how great his company is and then being told that he does not talk to customers paying full whack for a premium service that is not delivered.

Ignore this if that is how you see this moving forward.

I'm sorry AH but saying that "we are working on it" doesn't help us...it doesn't give us any indication as to what the problem is, you guys keep demand in the East, South and North, what demand are you talking about???
It seems that being money hungry has led AH astray, now you guys are over subscribed and trying to cut costs by not purchasing more IPC...This seems to be the pattern with all ISP's, either purchase more IPC and normalise our service or you guys are going to end up paying refunds for services not rendered....

Management definitely do talk to clients. Drop me a PM and I'll arrange you be in touch with Gian.
I think arriving without prior arrangement is always complicated - chances are, we're really busy and run on a pretty scheduled day.

What did you not understand about "contact me on the forum - No PM's". I have done my best via the "normal" channels and so have many others on this forum. I tried for several days to arrange to speak or meet or email any of your management before finally getting so frustrated that I drove to your head office. That just reinforced the arrogant attitude of everyone from "critical care" to CEO. Enough is enough and I will only respond via this forum and in the public view. AH had many opportunities to respond but chose to refuse all avenues that I tried.

Time and date?
