Afrihost's network performance has returned to that one month before the pre-MTN move #neverforget

10% Packet loss on teamspeak, lag spike with packet loss in gaming streaming is terrible and yet the network status got updated?

The complaints on this forum about packet loss, correspond roughly with me losing contact with my IP camera at home...

Ya well.. who cares really... packet loss is the new norm and will probably be.

The network status means fokol and there is nothing that will be done that really needs to be done but monitor, placate and optimise.

I know things haven't been great around gaming/ TS stuff specifically :(
I'm looking forward to having this sorted out though!

Okay... please elaborate then... my guess is that I might as well just not have internet at all then, seeing is it all sucks now?

I consume 300Gbyte a month, mostly torrents and mostly streaming... who can provide that need? I went for capped because uncapped is snake oil in this country

The issue now seems to be that a Capped Account is seen as let them have less resources than UNcapped. So that tell you how bad it is on CW Home Capped -(plain old vanilla IS resold account) so just make sure. Now all of a sudden they too want to change things.

I took the VOX special for 100Gig Capped. How kewl is it to come home and not have to wait til midnight to NNTP/Torrent

Awesome that Afrihost issues down South are resolved.

Awesome at that the extra added capacity!

Awsome!!

No upgrades have taken place yet.

Ya.. the point is that it is not resolved and not awsome no matter how green your little network indicator is made to glow.

Maybe "resolved" should be looked up in the dictionary before being used.

I'm really not sure why the status page has been updated, sorry :(
We aren't trying to fool anyone though - I'm happy to provide updates (as I have been doing) on the status.

Yea, Whats up with the status page showing all is good and ready to go ???
Misleading is it not ?

You guys are so blatantly dishonest on your home page it isn't funny.

Unfortunately I'm not directly involved on updates that are posted on the status page.
We have requested that the right info go up though.

Great, because I did vote you guys as trusting in the last vote a few days ago.

Thanks for your vote of confidence :)
We're always open with our clients, I'm really not sure why the noticeboard displays otherwise.
