... and the dogged slow South evenings I HOPE...???

Remember IPC is always a long term strategy. When those prices come into effect, IPC would still need to be ordered, etc. But definitely in the long term it is good news if the reduction is as big as the article suggests.

3rd hop latency where the second hop times out is very difficult to take as a definitive indicator, there's important info missing so the only way to make up for that is to test with another network and compare.

Latency on the network was definitely normal according to my reports for all regions.

I honestly doubt everyone's exchanges was buggered last night? So I definitely think you are wrong..

We didn't see this across all users so it seems like individual reports so far. But we'll monitor latency overall and see if we pick up any anomalies.

All recent trace routes posted here are all timed out on the 2nd hop. This is more than likely telkom blocking the trace on their exchange.

Geez... not again :(
Trouble in the South. At least I don't get hit with load shedding as well

Smells like IPC issues to me. Hop 3 is buggered!!!

Well everything has gone pear shaped. Can't even browse. :(
Had to pull out my CrystalWeb test account.

Here's a Tracert using that.

Was wondering why the thread was so quite. Surely no one here actually sleeps before 1am
... then realized... OH No... AH has dropped off the edge of the world taking all my loyal compatriots with it.
:D Good thing I had a backup plan.

Plink........ plink....... plink......
It's official. I'm alone. AH has dropped off the edge of the world.
*click* SD's just turned off the lights. :D

Latency is crazy tonight. Why am I being routed to Durban first when JHB is 350Km away from me?
