Passed few days im getting high ping/latency before it was 40ms locally on average, now its 100.

Is there an issue?

Hi :)

We did see latency in the South yesterday, but this should be resolved now.
Do you have any tests that you can paste here?

Sorry about this :( While the overall demand is quite high in the South at the moment it shouldn't be having negative affects around latency.
Have the above results you've pasted here been present throughout the day?

:( Ya the South is erratic.
10mbps line - erratic with a 5mbps average

AH has got to consider rollover or refunds.
This request went answered in my prior post.
Think it's time AH addressed and actioned it.

So glad my 3rd hop latency, packet loss and slow downloads are finally gone.

Not great to see such low throughput at all, really sorry about that :( I've tested at home and seem to see normal results though

Have you seen the reduced throughput all day today?
 
Ok, it looks much better now. Must be everyone on your exchange logging off and going home :-p

I'm just pulling your leg really. :D

latency is bad in both tests but the speed To JHB and, therefore, International is atrocious.

I just switched back after 2 weeks on Telkom, obviously I need to go back to them.
Another waisted month of Afrihost Bandwidth.
It is ridiculous that I have to Pay 2 ISP's just to make the account tolerable.

Such a pity I have 150GB of my capped account left that I can do nothing with. Can I give it away to someone on the forum Afripeeps?

Something wrong with the MyBB speed test. The only ISP that gets low latency through their test at the moment is telkom.

Try run a speed test on speedtest.net, saix or mweb speed test.
 
Haha. I still have some 30+GB to burn through this month, maybe give it to that other guy that was looking for an account to use a while back? :D

Very weird results here.
What's your throughput like on downloads like?

Even trying to open web pages on International is bad.
I have switched back to the Telkom account, I can't live with the Afrihost response times.
I am of a good mind to ask for a refund this month as so far Afrihost has been intolerable and I have had to buy Telkom Bandwidth to supplement it.

This morning found sustained speeds were up around 8mbps however realtime (Office Communicator Lync) was laggy. Lots of breakup on voice calling. Seeing erratic downloads for the last 2hrs or so. Can't say for sure about the rest of the day as I wasn't active.

Bumping my suggestion: AH should consider rollover or refunds.

There was a definite spike in latency in the South a few minutes ago. Our Team is checking why this happened, but I think something on our side may not be coping with loadshedding as well as it should be.

The latency on my business uncapped account is death atm.
