Not great :( Didn't see any trending issues last night, would you be able to grab some tests if you see similar issues this evening? AfriGenie will be around until 8pm or so this evening.

You mean authentication?

I'm not seeing any increase in authentication requests, can you please send me a PM with your ADSL username.
 
I have been struggling to even open web sites this evening so ran a speed test.
This is the local result, Cape Town to Cape Town, on a 10Meg Line:

I had same problem but only occur around about 3-5pm then I raged because I lost my ranked game. Then I came back at 8pm and it was fine.

We have seen an increase in latency in the past weeks between 8pm and 10pm but my reports show that latency should have been consistent last night. However, that's from general reports, so it's possible that your individual experience may differ and there could have been latency at the time you test on your specific connection to our network. We know that this is when demand is at peak so it's possible. Usually the reports are pretty spot on though, so I would be surprised if the general client experience differed from my reports :(

We definitely haven't seen latency rise at that time, we usually see demand from the day taper off around 5-ish and then increase again towards 8pm (for the South at least).

Did you run any kind of tests at the time?
 
WTF! Afrihost! Got disconnected from BF4 and battleing for 5 min to post this message. Websites take forever to display and I can't even post the screenshot of my disconnect!

Could you PM me your DSL username please? I'd like to have look at what's happening here. Can't see any issues off the bat from our end.

I haven't done any tests. But right now at the moment I have over 50% packet loss in teamspeak and cannot log any of my games.

The South looks decent at the moment. Are you seeing this issue on other ISPs too?
 
Hmmm

Packet loss and decreased throughput on Afrihost accounts again...

This still the same ongoing issue to do with Southern contention and load shedding?

Tracert cant even find your own server and you can't see anything wrong?

No wonder this network is going from bad to worse.

Telkom at least finds you in 18 hops but latency goes up by an order of magnitude after hop 8:
