Some form of indication as to when the upgrade is expected, would be nice. I could then make an informed decision.
The account is usable for the short term, but, would look to move if it's going to be months before the upgrade.
I promise that no-one is waiting for an upgrade more than me. Aside from being a DSL user in the North (which needs an upgrade), I also wish I had better news to deliver here to our clients.
I can only promise that if I have information, I will share it to set everyone's mind at ease as best I can.
Some awesome news for clients in the North. We have received some additional IPC capacity to improve our client's overall experience. We should start seeing an overall improvement. Thanks for bearing with us.
However, just remember that we can still use the network optimally for the best benefit. I'd always like to encourage clients to schedule torrents and heavy downloads for late at night or overnight. This will ensure that we can always deliver the best possible experience, especially on realtime services like streaming, gaming and browsing.
I'm still awaiting news on the South upgrade - I believe it's also imminent.

Something doesn't look lekker on your side. Have you tried restarting your router? You're getting 40ms latency to your router, that's not a good sign.

The quality of the capped accounts have gone down significantly lately.
Higher latency, packet loss (both local and international).
I hope this is just a transition from MTN buying afrihost and that it improves very very soon, because like it is now I cannot use it.
