Doesn't look too great, but I also think your local ping is unusually high. Latency locally would be much more pronounced on an international trace.

Could you post or PM a traceroute?

The local latency always gives that on the speedtest.

This is strange indeed, are these results consistent?

Although check the faster speed now, and the better ping at the ESR.

The MyBroadband speed test always shows high pings for me and it does it on Mweb as well hence I do not use it.
Yet International is ok.

Can you try to durban? Isn't Hilton in KZN? Where you are (how far away) in the country effects your ping.

Yes, Hilton is 10km North of PMBurg and Durban is fine when on Mweb, but the game servers are all in JHB or CTN :(

mmm I see MyBroadband does not give a Durban option.

Yeah I know, try speedtest, just "begin test" so it chooses the closet server to get a true reflection of your best scenario ping.

I'm near hillcrest and I get a 32ms ping to the durban server (telkom).

Here are some other examples (4mb line) from MyBB although I'm not on AH:

I'll post some AH pings later when I log in.

Last 2-3 days are horrid:

I am 10Mbps bundle capped package with a line sync at 3Mbps...but downloads are 0.5 local to an MTN server :(

Support ticket: VJA-439-36308

I am on Afrihost capped and have a 4 meg line. Since yesterday International seems to be intermittent. Downloading pictures from my FTP site in the USA is a nightmare. Keep on being told that it is reconnecting. I also upload files to Denmark and keep on losing the VPN connection.

The upload speed seems rather slow. Or is that correct?

This seems to be related to congestion on your Telkom exchange at first glance. But we'll need to look at more tests to determine this, especially if we can test with an alternative network.

I would definitely recommend downloading our Network Test App and run some more tests :(

This local tests seems pretty normal, so we'd need to see more specific information with regard to the servers you're accessing like traces and pings to the site :(

There seems to be a problem with the amount of data that I have downloaded during this month according to my data usage on client zone and what I know I did? Have anybody experienced this yet, I am the only user on my line and was not even at home during the day:wtf:
