P2P dead on a capped account as well. This is pathetic.
 
I'm honestly thinking about leaving AH after just about 6 years. I joined capped from business uncapped because I thought I wouldn't be shaped :/

You'd think they would want you to use more cap so you buy more, guess I was wrong.
 
Do we now have to submit a list of multiplayer games to our ISP for them to allow them ? :wtf:
 
The same Glasnost test I did earlier, but on Axxess Capped;

That's actually quite interesting.
 
One of these days this thread is just going to go quiet because Afrijoke will have no more clients left to complain.
 
Last time I called last week they told me it was because of iOS that everyone was downloading. I really don't get why capped is shaped isn't that against there policy?

Indeed... busy with Bitorrent tests, Axxess all green, Afrihost's test just never, ever completes... try and try and try, cannot get it to finish. Axxess runs as normal and gives the all green.

Just got the typical Afrihost answer from callcentre. "There must be a problem with the network sir, our engineers will try and sort it out." (Wiping the vomit from my hands)
 
Oh what the hell - 50kB/s on a torrent download on my 6 MB/s capped account. And this on one of the most well seeded torrents on pirate ... erm ... linuxdistrobay.

Two months of this, I'm done.

News servers and torrents alike .... terrible speeds. Less than 100kBps on my 10M line.

Tried a Web Africa Free 1GB just to make sure it wasn't Telkom's problem. Web Africa News Server and Torrent downloads were at blazing full speed.

If this continues this month, I'm definitely making a change.
 
I'm noticing the same, sadly.
Speedtest is showing a decent result, but youtube buffers on 480p for a 10Meg line :(

Well Afrishost, you have now lost me as a customer, I cannot every 2nd or 3rd day fight with you, send you emails etc. THen it comes right for a short bit and then back to square one.

I have two words for you and and the 2nd word is OFF!

Im done!!!
