Im in the same boat. Speedtest gives me 35Mbps and yet I cant watch 720P on youtube.

The youtube stats show 600Kbps and massive dropped frames

I have a feeling our Network Management Software has been miss-classifying certain types of traffic for awhile - partly why the update was pushed through last weekend - I certain that there will be improvements with streaming once things have settled down.

So for all this time, well six months in my case, our Unshaped Accounts may well have been Shaped as far as Streaming is concerned?
 
My streaming is still bad was buffering a lot last night. Whoever is in charge of there software doesn't seem to know what they are doing. A days mess up is understandable but this is just to much

Or it is something more than just software which they not telling us about
 
I think your new Network Management system is shaping Steam downloads. Well, actually I know based on this image:
20mb Capped VDSL - started at 2.2mb, dropped down after a few minutes to +-250kb, and then stayed there

Is this true? Afribots will you please confirm.

I noticed weird "shape" like behaviour on my capped accounts too. So much so that I could start predicting. ( As soon as you can predict network behavior you know it's BS happening)
 
Speeds wonky again. Speedtest up and down graphs not a solid/constant stream as it was yesterday afternoon.



23 out of 40 Mpbs :(

Youtube also not streaming with buffering.

Were really hoping you have fixed this yesterday. :(
 
All seams to be fine for me in Cape Town this morning.
I just downloaded the new version of Sketchup 2015 and it maxed out at my line sync rate.Clipboard01.png

I wonder if we are now seeing exchange specific issues.
Do AH have IPC to each exchange, or or is it up to Telkom to get it to a central point?
