Twitch quality is shocking... Anyone else?
When is it ever good? I've yet to have decent quality with AH and twitch, ever.
Something that helps a lot is Tardsplaya (All credit to I~got~issues)

Just a quick question. The issues Afrihost customers are experiencing. Will the affect AXXESS as well. The last week or so streaming Hulu or Netflix has been a nightmare. Buffering constantly.?

That sucks. It depends on which area you are in. If you are still offline, drop me a PM and I'll check if there is an outage in your area.
I don't really know what this does, I'm suspecting it's a proxy server or something like that. We'll have to look into it before we can say anything further, but I can't say we officially recommend you use this service or not.
We'll keep looking into Twitch, as we have been for a while, until we can improve performance. I know that many clients do get a good experience so we'll have to figure out why some do not
Streaming should be performing well. It will depend on the cause of the poor experience. Axxess are on the same backbone as us, but their policies are different and that could make a difference.

Diagnostic tests based on Visual perception and the Auditory Neuro feedback loop algorithm = Blocky and Low quality

Ye sadly twitch streaming seems its always been a problem, when I switch to a different ISP this isn't a problem at all. Ironically enough when say there is a big game on twitch they often will stream it on youtube as well. That's the only time I can watch comfortably at 720p live streaming.
Could it be some form of shaping issue?
It shouldn't be, remember Capped and Business run through the same shaping pool - all of which is unshaped.
I've personally seen very mixed results with Twitch, not sure if it's got to do with the site itself. Quite a few people around the world have reported buffering and poor performance with them.
Are all your streams buffering and not up to scratch?
Im also having major issues with Twitch the last 2 days where it wont even stream on Low(240p) yet youtube would do 1080p no problems. And it is not twitch because nobody on chat is complaining about lag.
I know there can be general issues with twitch. The only testing I did was check on different accounts/isp and from that I saw a big difference. But like I said this seems to only be on twitch if I watch a live stream on youtube it works 100%.
Can you guys see what this stream is like? I've tested this over the last hour or so without a single buffer on High http://www.twitch.tv/streamerhouse
I tried Twitch on both Saturday and Sunday and lots of people in chat were complaining, so I switch streams.
