Does anyone here play League of Legends at all? I'm trying to establish if anyone else is seeing an increase in packet loss to the EU Server.

I had 29% packet loss to EUW last night, was completely unplayable, switched to Axxess Double data package and, was smooth there on out.

Thanks

Me, had packet loss earlier that night with high latency, went away and went to bed, might have cropped up again later. Also had high latency this morning.

I was playing Arma last night and I had major issues from about 8pm-9pm. After 9Pm things slowly got back to normal. But did not seem to have much packet loss tho and other users on the server had no issues. So it was not the server, could have only been from my end. Also during that time my Teamspeak was terrible and could not hear the others very well but they could hear me fine.

I'm experiencing heavy (20-40%) packet loss to my office via PPTP VPN. Without the VPN the packet loss is negligible!

Trace complete.

I've connected to both our Neotel and Frogfoot fibre IP ranges and the packet loss was similar. I've now switched to WebAfrica and there is absolutely no packetloss on it.

I then went and checked my colleague's VPN too and he's also having heavy packet loss on his IP that is on mtnbusiness network too (105-236-xxx-xxx.access.mtnbusiness.co.za), which is most likely also an Afrihost account.

Sorry about this :( I can't spot any drops coming in from our end - are you still seeing issues this morning?

Webpage not available webpage not available webpage not available, on and off all night. Anyone else having issues?

I didn't see any issues on the network last night, did you manage to grab any tests that I can look into for you?

I could not connect to any of my ADSL accounts last night. Line was syncing. Error code 651 appeared when trying a pppoe connection. It is back now though but it is 2nd time in 24 hours that this has happened. Anyone else had this issue before?

Strange.
Did you have a good sync when trying to make the PPPoE connection?

If you're still unable to connect drop me a PM with your DSL username and I can check the authentication logs coming from your router.

And they say that the problems were fixed......lol This is becoming a joke. Lots of complaints on facebook as well.

We've definitely addressed a lot of queries, our network is running a lot better than what it was.

Please tell Simphiwe N that it's not cool to take people for a gat on the live chat thing.
I presented him with my line speed problem and he left me hanging for 40 minutes, no reply, at which point I ended the session.

This isn't great at all :(
Are you still seeing slow throughput this morning?

Was much better this morning, up to full speed.
I worry that this will become a daily thing and it will be shrugged off because it's ok in the morning.

I don't think it was intentional, our Live Chat team can get quite busy - I'm sure it was just an oversight. Sorry about that.

Lets keep monitoring it, if you notice a slow down again this evening drop us a line.

Please keep monitoring and let me know if you spot this going forward.

We're seeing issues with IPSec VPN today across multiple sites all with capped AfriHost accounts. The VPN tunnel keeps dropping and coming back up. Switched 2 sites over to IS and the VPNs are stable again.

We've logged a ticket with support.

Thanks for the heads up, do you have the ticket ID? I'd like to follow it up with our tech guys.
