Go look at your facebook page. More reports there on last night

We couldn't trend anything from the reports last night, doesn't look like there was an unusually high number of queries either.

dropping again

Looks like the latency is being spiked at the exchange, have you tested another account to see if the results differ?

Well, it's fine again, I think it is the hop onto your network that is the issue, but it is too intermittent to check a different account.

The latency is dropping packets and seeing high latency on the 2nd hop, this is your exchange.
A good way to test this is to run another account for a decent amount of time to see if the same intermittent spikes happen.

Yeah, I think it's the port, since I am also getting line disconnects for a minute randomly. I had no internet before, asked them to change port, he didn't and just reset it, so wondering how long till I am back at square 1. According to Afrigenie I should have my exchange upgraded soon. Not sure how I could get Telkom to sort it out, since they would come over and see nothing.

Have we tried lowering your sync to see if this stabilises the connection?

If I move my line to Telkom. How long does it take? Also since already billed by afrihost will I be billed again by Telkom?

The process takes about 14 days, no downtime. Billing will be adjusted, so if we've billed you already you won't get charged from Telkom.
