I know we've had some problems with traffic management over the last few weeks, and our team is busy working on this to improve gaming experience especially. We've managed to look at quite a few popular titles and we'll keep testing them as we make changes to ensure the best gaming experience possible.

I've had the same problems since I joined Afrihost last year. It's the MTN network. Axxess has the same problems.

I'm pretty sure when the Windows 10 release date hits, we'll make sure to have a local cache server for the release version.

We'll take some pro-active steps to protect the network and offer the best experience we can under the circumstances. I'm confident our team will get this right. But I'm also sure that this will be one of the biggest downloads of the year given Microsoft's offer of free upgrade to legal and illegal users. So hoping for the best and fearing the worst

Well I don't know what steps are available, but I guess it will come down to offering an overall decent performance, and still allowing people to grab their downloads in a reasonable time.

Hopefully people will be able to share the download. I don't know if Windows still do that on their updates

Free? I doubt that, trust me there will be some catch, maybe 90 days free and then you need to buy it.

Indeed, but since they would have already downloaded the software, we'll just anticipate that 90% of the known world will be looking for the update. Except my wife who's laptop still runs on XP (bless her soul)

100% free for the rest of your life. If you're an illegal user things are a bit more sketch. They'll let you upgrade but you upgrade to a non legal version.

I bought windows 7 ultimate from makro when they were having a 50% off sale. Got windows 8 for R300 when they were doing the upgrade deal and now I'm going to get windows 10 for free. I like where MS is going with this

Bought my Win7 builders licence for R400, got Win8 via upgrade for R150 (at the time) now I'll be getting Win10
