Afrihost Capped DSL Feedback

Another evening, more high latency on Afrihost. 250-280ms to Heroes of the Storm EU. 165ms on Vox, please explain why the huge difference in latency?

Sorry to hear about that. Please send me a couple of test results comparing the two accounts and I'll pass it onto our NOC Team.

Please help me clarify the capped account change in January 2017.
Shaped capped accounts received double data for life.

So, 100gb account became 100Gb + 100Gb Shaped (by default)
Would Afriplus then double this to 400 Gb in total?

Correct. :) So the 100GB + 100GB Capped accounts became a 200GB Shaped Capped account. You do have the option to add the Plus+ Double Data benefit to your Capped account getting you 200GB + 200GB.

Something is not correct within Client Zone and the Android app.
I only see 100Gb Monthly Data + 100Gb Afriplus within data usage.

Just to add, Twitch was bad too, even through workarounds.

And still Online gaming to any EUW source is impossible due too 300+ ms even tested with the test WebAfrica account your support provided again and perfect 165 ping.

What game are you playing? Could you post some results the next time you experience this? Would love to pass it onto our NOC Team.

I have to date sent 14 trace routes to your support or someone on the forums when asking for test with not 1 single reply. In these trace routes it clearly showed the difference between Afrihost and the test account. I honestly do not see the point of sending more trace route tests.

This has been an issue for months now and does not look like it will be resolved anytime soon as many users on this thread have shown that it is an issue.

I was just giving an update so you are aware it is still not fixed even with the capacity upgrade. For now when I want to game I use the test account your technician provided as it seems to be the only way I get the quality of service you promise in return for the money I pay you every month.

I am not attacking anyone just really annoyed that this glaring issue has after 6 months not been resolved.

Could you maybe PM me the ticket references for your queries? I'd like to make sure that we follow-up on this.
 
On YT 1080/720 and Twitch 720p.

What's being done about this?

Our Network Team has been investigating, but we haven't been able to find any network wide issues. We would like to monitor your connection in real-time whilst you are streaming Twitch or Youtube to see exactly what is happening. Would you mind letting me know when the performance starts dipping so that we can monitor from our side?
 
have a 100GB capped account, and have 30GB's left, but my usage says i used 1% :wtf: Dont have a 30GB account :confused:

Thanks for the heads-up. I did check on each individual account on you profile, and the usage and remaining data is displaying correctly for each account.

says i have a 30GB account though, which is not correct

Or am I missing something :D
