At 8:15am my line went down again. Anothet weekend totally f-ed. Yeah
Really struggling this morning, banking , mybb, facebook , anything. Any issues east\Durban side?
internet is seriously down the crapper again
I have to second that. Extremely slow currently.
Speed test maxing out at 9Mbps, but a real world download actually peaking at 1Mbps
http://ipv4.download.thinkbroadband.com/200MB.zip
This in my 20Mbps line.
What's quite frustrating is that I selected an unshaped account to not have this issue, but sadly if they are out of capacity then this is what you get.
Horrible speeds all weekend on Afrihost. Trying to stream on a fibre line with a capped account and can't with out it buffering every couple of seconds.
Why was my monthly data allocation short this month? I tried twitter but only got a response this morning for a tweet i sent two or three days ago.

I'm pushing hard for a tech to be dispatched to you as quickly as possible.
At least your responding and I thank you for that
Yip. Was seeing huge latency spikes.

Was our Team able to figure out what happened?
We'll get to the bottom of this!
Yesterday a Telkom Tech pitched up at my house. Again I had to ask off from work only to hear that there was no issue and that there is NO WAY I can have 4MB. I just found out that a friend of mine got upgraded to 20MB and he is at least 3KM further away from the exchange. Why cant I upgrade? I can give you his address if you like. I'm more than willing to pay. TAKE MY MONEY!
My line is currently running at 4mb. As per previous experiences this will only last for 25 hours. Lets see.
Did you run any traceroutes during this time? Maybe even a ping to bras.afrihost.com?

It's entirely possible that you are connected to a different Exchange. I can check again for you, but generally the Techs would recommend an upgrade if it was possible.
