Thank you for the update. How did the connection hold-up over the weekend?

Since Sunday it's been looking a lot better, I haven't noticed the throughput tanking at night anymore. Has something been changed or did it just resolve itself?

I'm not aware of any major changes that were made over the weekend. I am glad that you have seen an improvement. If there is any change, please let me know.
 
Line slowed down significantly recently. Restarting hasn't helped. Any problems at the moment in the Cape Town area?

Just got confirmation from Afrihost support that there is a widespread issue (of currently unknown cause) affecting Gauteng and the Western Cape. They're working on it at present. I'll post any other updates I get here.

I am so tired of this .. just getting lag, Packet drops, +80ms ping to so called Local Afrihost website.. Cant even play stupid online game like Gota.io with all the packet loss lag. etc..

Oh! and this is a Capped account.. So why all the Lag, Packet loss, High Ping?
