Afrihost Capped DSL Feedback

Hi Afri, please can you guys log another line fault for me.

Even after downgrading my line from 20, to 18, to 16 and now even 14mb
I still experience random line drops throughout the day with excessive latency issues.

We'll get on that pronto!

It looks like we've already logged a fault for you, we're just waiting for the tech to be dispatched now.

Howzit afriguys just noticed I haven't received my extra 100gb on my 100gb shaped capped account? Any reason?

That shouldn't have happened. Please PM me your account info and I'll look into it. :)

http downloads for updating operating systems are dead in the water again tonight. browsing is also very jerky. come on ah, sort this crap out so that your customers can work properly and get the service that they pay for.

Hi, What's happening with the Internet in Capetown. 2 different afrihost accounts capped and uncapped 2 different locations both dead (no Internet)

Sigh 8pm and back to the usual...

Please guys this has been an ongoing issue since the beginning of this year...

You guys sure do have a lot of patience being test puppets and paying for it while being lied to by AH that all should be running smooth.

AH must either have the most useless technical team on the the planet or you are blatant liars, I'm leaning more toward the later.

Most of these issues here have been ongoing since January, some even before and the NOC team are still "testing" or "investigating".

Since I changed my ISP my line has been running full speed all hours of the day and on all protocols with zero issues.

As I still have 200GB with AH that rolled over I though I would see if anything has improved. So I changed account details and tried to download an iOS app update which ran at a whopping 100kbit/s! That's on a unshaped 20Mbps line. After 20min of pain I finally stopped the update changed account details and the download went right to 18.5Mbps.

Wake up and smell the coffee people, speak with your wallet.

Trust me I'm this close to just cancelling and making my Web Africa backup my primary account. If this is still ongoing in May I'm just going to call it quits...

Are your accounts still not authenticating? Could you PM me your details and I'll check what's going on.

:(

Thank you for the test results, I've passed the test results onto our Team to investigate.

Good day AfriGenie

Could you please verify why I am experiencing high packet loss on the exchange and then also thereafter some packet loss?
