Seeing an improvement on Youtube in this test. Please send us the link to the next video you have trouble with.

So what you're saying is 'It's fine for a 1080P YouTube video to be unwatchable at 9 in the evening?"

Definitely not! AfriFella is just saying that if the issue persists now we'll need to do some more specific troubleshooting.

However, I'm still experiencing DSL connectivity drops. Any further suggestions?

Yeah... :(

There are still a lot of DSL line disconnections. I've just reset your DSL line, can you give it a few minutes to stabilize to see if that helps.

2 days of latency issues both days telkom says my line is 100%. Whats going on?? Long weekend and i can't use the internet.

Hi, yes.

After installing and testing Streamlink as per Soul Assassin's suggestion. (Thanks A LOT)
I was at times able to stream Source but noticed that there was at least a 60+ second delay in chat. (Which is imo not cutting it)

Right now I'm trying to stream 720p30fps and this is the throughput via streamlink. It's low and even now there is buffering and stuttering. (Keep in mind this is a 'work-around'). I've had no feedback as to what is being done to better my experience.

I'm unable to get most of the info that I was previously able to get off of the website.

Can I get any feedback on this?

Like anything at all?

I wouldn't have to ask this question if AH followed advice and split capped thread between the 2 products.

Although, I don't see it helping much as my "unshaped" account was still shaped when doing win updates for eg:

EDIT: so, from my end, I have ZERO TRUST in AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT 2: Notice how there is no mention of "unshaped" in the wording of the "unshaped" capped account. Coincidence? I think NOT!

EDIT 3: AH, their own worst enemy.

@NewBiks, add your bras.afrihost.com ping as you have 16/10% loss at the hop that is either exchange or Afrihost network.

Massive ping on Afrihost with fibre line. Latency is fine with Web Africa.

I know our NOC team were monitoring a potential issue on Friday night, but otherwise we're told that performance has been good.

Have you run any tests I could take a look at?
