Can I get any feedback on this?

Like anything at all?

As far as I am aware things should be running well as the moment. Can you give us some tests that we can try to replicate?

Hi Afri-gents. Please help, I have a capped 100 GB DSL Data Package. I've noticed one of the areas have great speed but the other area we using the account is slow or dead, browsing takes forever to load pages. It's strange, one address is perfect but the other address is slow. Please assist and look into my account. Much appreciated!

If you're using the same account, it sounds like it could be an issue with either the line or the exchange in the second location. Can you drop me a PM with the line number? :(

I wouldn't have to ask this question if AH followed advice and split capped thread between the 2 products.

Although, I don't see it helping much as my "unshaped" account was still shaped when doing win updates for eg:

EDIT: so, from my end, I have ZERO TRUST in AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT 2: Notice how there is no mention of "unshaped" in the wording of the "unshaped" capped account. Coincidence? I think NOT!

EDIT 3: AH, their own worst enemy.

Not sure what you are saying here ... I don't think shaping makes a difference here cos the account works in another location. Shaping rules would be consistent on all concurrent connections if it's shaped account.

For the record - CPT performance poor vs AH SAIX Test Account.

DSTV live streaming is unworkable on AH and perfect on SAIX Test Account.
This is not new. It's ongoing.

Your latency definitely seems poor on AH. I guess it also depends on how long you were connected to both accounts, if you switched briefly to another ISP just to test, it sometimes takes some time for latency to "settle" before it's shows on tests after a port reset. If you could also include a BRAS ping with each test we could also see a clearer picture.

YouTube was buffering for me a bit last night. Nothing major, but this was around 10pm

Seriously? SERIOUSLY??? Really... seriously? That's all that's on offer??

Let's look through the logic.
Line is palpably slow. Speed test confirm it. Swap to >>> AH SAIX Test account <<<<. It blows AH away in terms of speed and latency. It clearly didn't require time to 'stabilize'.

Anyhow no debate necessary. Tests clearly demonstrate the AH issue. I wasn't seeking confirmation of an issue. I would have appreciated an explanation as to the nature of the consistent issues in CPT.

UPDATE: I guess you might not have read all my prior posts, speedtests, pings, traces, etc, etc, etc. If so you might want to review those and others from numerous CPT users reporting the same. Oh yeah and KZN also seems to be hit to performance issues.

We're definitely up to date with all of your test results. You are still working with our Critical Care Team if I'm not mistaken?
