Afrihost Capped DSL Feedback

The reality is a lot of people are still (unwittingly) connected to their Afrigreen accounts. If we decide to remove them a lot of users' connections will drop and we'll have a big problem on our hands. For now, it's best to leave them active in ClientZone. You can use either account.

OK the reason why I asked "which one I should use?" is I get better throughput on Afrigreen than on regular AH.
 
Sympathy might have been a better name :whistle: Not surprised that there's not one single word about the weekend's pathetic performance from AH.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Did you manage to run some tests for me to pass onto the Team?

That shouldn't really be the case... Could you perhaps show me some comparative results?
 
Nope. Just like everyone else, we're still waiting for feedback from the HUNDREDS of tests we did what... Back in November already?

Issues that you encountered in November can unfortunately not be compared to any issues that you might be experiencing now. We've generally been getting better feedback from users in Capetown lately, but I'd like to continue passing results onto our Network Team to further improve your experience.

Not by the looks of it, and not by the experience of it either... Quite a few complaints for the weekend alone. I still pretty much get dialup speed on my DSL with AH at night - when I use it. The service is so pathetic right now at night, it's not even usable.

And what will YOU do, other than to 'pass it on to your network team,' where it obviously goes NO further, and NO feedback ever come out of? Sorry, but sick and tired doing YOUR testing for you, only to be completely IGNORED by your so called 'network' team.

We definitely don't ignore any feedback. The best I can personally do is work with you and pass info onto our Team.

Yes you do. Show me 10 posts, just 10, where you have provided feedback from your network team? Your too chicken ***** to even admit that you HAVE a problem.
 
Hi. How do I know if you are shaping accounts? I am on the capped account and unfortunately on the shaped version. My streaming is terrible atm.

Shaping should not affect your streaming experience at all. You might be sitting with another issue here. Please feel free to PM me your details and we'll run through some troubleshooting.
 
Speeds in CPT are awful at the moment. Youtube buffering like hell and can't break over 1mbps.
Should be noted that speedtests run fine. Video streams are buffering like heck. YouTube, Amazon, etc.
 
Anyone else strugling with afrihost news? Nevermind speeds but actual throughput?
