Bad CPT latency

Hey AfriPeep's.
Latency to BRAS is all over the place. Speeds were completely erratic. Browsing hit badly.

Tried to check using the test account however it's locked me out.
Reconnected to AH and boom... latencies are normal.
So dropping and reconnecting resolved the issue.
Why? What could the root-cause be?

International speeds are currently terrible. Local is erratic. Local peaks at 19mbps then drops to 12mbps, repeat.

speeds are terrible since yesterday up and down and all over the place even after midnight
works fine with other isp

Also had issues with YT buffering like crazy. Restarted my router and all is good once again.

As mentioned the test account is not working so don't have a comparison.

Update: BRAS is all over the place this evening. Latencies are bouncing in the 100's down to 18ms.
What the blazes is going on?

Hi, my youtube and kodi streaming 100% on 1080p streams. Even tried Dstv,no issues for me. 10meg capped unshaped account Pta

You're fortunate. It's been a litany of woe in CPT over the past weeks.
... and clearly when nothing is streaming the only option to pass the time is here. Arrrggg.
 
Hi AfriGuys.

I want to change my shaped capped to unshaped.

I'm on the 100GB shaped capped that's R 99. And I have AH+. So my bill is R 198. I don't want this bill to increase so I just want to change to the 50GB unshaped capped so with AH+ it will be 100GB unshaped capped.

Can you please do this for me as I'm not sure which package to choose as the package change option is very confusing.

Reason for this is that iOS app updates are terrible. Flying on Vox but slow on Afrihost. At 1.36 AM.

21:00 - 155 Ms Ping - 9.43 Mbps

Speeds are as good as I've even seen them this time of the evening. So, hopefully the guys have found\resolved the issues.

BRAS tests purely show exchange performance. Your intermittent results are definitely concerning. :( Are you working with our CC Team?

It blows my mind that this is still ongoing. I've accepted having to dial into my Web Africa account most nights...

Packet Loss and latency to BRAS is unfortunately outside of our control. :( This is exchange related.
