Hi
I have a rather weird issue. My office uses Mweb (historical reasons, would take a lot to shift them off it), and my personal account is with afrihost. The office runs various servers (including exchange) on their ADSL link (bad idea, I know, but again legacy reasons). I can access the office server from MTN, Telkom Mobile, and vodacom, but not afrihost.
Predictably the two blame each other
. From the traceroutes below, I am inclined to blame Mweb, but it's hard to be sure what exactly is going on.
I have been testing using telnet to the work server on a port that is definitely open. It is not a DNS issue; I can retrieve the IP address and use that manually.
From Afrihost:
From Telkom it goes:
Anyone got any ideas how I can resolve this annoyance?
Thanks
