Afrihost dismisses acquisition rumours

Afrihost has not been in discussions with MTN regarding a potential acquisition, the company said.

Afrihost are just a reseller (opinion) in my books after seeing what the top-up prices are comparing them with MTN

Its called wishful thinking. We both read the article am sure, and just dreaming a bit that it was the other way around. With Mtn and Afrihost DNS servers down so quickly after their courtship, am not so sure it's such a good idea

We got told the rumours of our company being sold were false and we should ignore it, 3 months later the company was sold

Afrihost needs to start saving up as much as they can and take over MTN :twisted:

Similar thing happened to me 13 years ago. Rumours of our company liquidating, denied by management, then bam, one Monday morning(2 weeks later) the gates and doors were locked.
