Between Elitehost (Shared) and Domains.co.za (VPS), haven't had a single drop of downtime since I set up monitoring on 15/9. Sure, not much of a timeframe to work with (especially for the VPS), but Afrihost was another story. Downtime at least once a day, even if it was for a minute or two (server load). I doubt this 'act' of Afrihost buying back MTN shares will do much for their hosting business.

Can't access two of our cloud servers again. On the phone with them currently but there's a long waiting list.

AfriISP, not Afrihost....

Or are they doing hosting the african way, with no science and re-learning as they go along? Dunno. Only AfriISP would know. They've been in the hosting business since the 90's, you'd think they'd have the expertise to keep a server up for longer than 24 hours.

yeah our web and emails have been on and off intermittently for the last couple of days. Seems they are having issues at Gallo Manor.
