I bought a domain from afrihost without a hosting account and just parked it at their nameservers.
Tried to change the "nameservers" on the hosting account after their advertising says the following ("Full DNS Management")...
And I get the following in the response
Since when does coza have a policy like this? Web Africa provides me the same service with no issues.
Either I am outdated as to the policies and procedures of South African Domains or Afrihost are trying to screw me into taking out a hosting account with them, coz they either too lazy or stupid to change a nameserver on their system???
I guess "Full DNS Management" aint what it use to be....
Now I need to have it transfered to change the nameserver... And I must bear the cost???
Who can smell Consumer Protection Act???

Apology if we have mis-lead you in any way.
Yes you have control of the DNS management and DNS name servers.
However even if we update the DNS name servers, coza the registrar does
not allow the change of name servers without the domain transferring to
the ISP. Unfortunately we can not change they policy.
The best we can do is point the domain to the server it will be
residing on using the server IP address.
