That's pretty awful for a new-ish device. Was it like this from the get go or has it only recently started performing poorly?
 
:( All I want to do today is play Robocraft, but Afrihost doesn't allow me to do that. Yesterday it worked fine up to 22:00, but today I couldn't get it working at all. The players just 'hang' as soon as the game starts:
I have a feeling it might have something to do with the upload speed, because the download speed looks awesome:

It's strange that the upload is so poor. Usually upload is pretty good on 3G. Do you get this type of upload speed everywhere?
 
How long does it take to get a response from MTN wrt a coverage query? Been waiting since 15 August :(

I only started using it after the partition fix was released. It's been like this since then. .

I saw some people say something similar in the Zest T1 thread. If that's the case there is probably something in the update that is draining resources. Have you tried contact Zest directly about this via the Facebook page?

My initial enquiry was 16th July

then nothing, until I queried it on 4 August, the prompt response was:

That was a month ago, I reckon feedback is pretty high up the ladder.

EDIT: I was able to play a few games, but now it seems bad again. The Upload part of the SpeedTest failed: "Upload Test Error - Upload test returned an error while trying to read the upload file."

I've been following that thread too and there is confirmation there that the battery issues where present before the partition update too. I havent tried contacting Zest. Is it Afrihost or Zest responsible for the warranty ?
 
I might be pushing it but is there somehow to force the Mifi device to connect to a specific tower to stop signal from bouncing around?

Sounds like there is a network issue here but would fall under coverage. We'll need to log a coverage query directly with MTN on this :(

If it's under warranty it's covered by the manufacturer but we can facilitate the process for you.
