Cool :)

What happens if we change to the R29 plan now? It says "effective immediately". Capped? :D

Got a question for Afriman:

Say I disable my protection plan (I won't, but bear with me), can I add it again later?

maybe its cause of this thingy, afriman could you help me?

Ordered mine ... order pending. I am just worried ... I put my work address ... cause it seemed they take rather long to deliver ... but we are closed tomorrow and Friday.

Oh ... guys ... do you know what the Afrihost APN is? I will need to set it manually I think as the devices I will be using is not from Afrihost.

Yes ... I know their name is Afrihost ... but what is the APN?

lol

Grap net .... dankie DTBA
Wahahaha I was like damn you would not be that :/ Almost went and took a screen shot haha

no prob man

Discovered last night why I occasionally have problems. The mifi device works perfectly if left in the same position. As soon as you start moving around, (switching from 2G to 3G) then mine gets confused. Then I end up with no data throughput at all until I reboot it

@Lino I always shop around before initiating that phone call. (prepaid all the way) my fingers also have been burnt several of times with contract due to open line, come month-end bill shocker.

You'll now be saving an extra R100 - R200 per month on your phone bill to subsidize your MiFi bundle :)

Darn right it is amazing how a simple Skype subscription can help to reduce call costs. Quite ridiculous if you think of it!

I'm having a poor experience so far. My adsl at home is not working so I have literally mapped down to the square meter where I get MTN signal in my house. ONE spot gets me just over 1Mbps sometimes. Other times no matter what I do I get no signal. :(

Have you tested the signal outdoors? Outdoor signal for 3G will always be better outside, but it will definitely depend on your area coverage and the demand from the local populace (who subscribe to MTN that is).

Remember that APN access from an MTN SIM will only be available on separate signup on launch day (tomorrow). However, devices like our MiFi are already using our APN to access data (with data provisioned to the specific SIM number). You'll see that the APN on your MiFi is automatically set to Afrihost :)
