@Afriman: AfriMan has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space. Sorry for the highjack

Man, I keep deleting messages and they keep coming in :(

I'm pretty sure there's an option in vB to increase the messagebox size for certain groups. Maybe ask RPM?

Yes, that is correct. I am sure RPM will have no problem to increase private message capacity :)

Don't want to abuse my fame.

Have deleted a TON of messages, so should be sorted.

Feeling the love - but remember Afriguy and Afrigirl as also around. We need a team name .... How about the JustUs League - cos in the league of Awesome ISP's - there's just us!! ;)

Getting really tired of this ****. Never had any problems with my 8ta sim.

Mobile 2 was also acting up. Browsing sites using chrome on my S3 worked, but as soon as I tried to load MyBB it rerouted to the MiFi landing page. Wouldn't connect to MyBB via Tapatalk at all. :(

If I have to ask for my sims to be reset every few days I would rather cancel. :(

Having issues with Mobile 3 agaib as well. Not to mention Mobile 2 was weird last night as well.

What is causing this? As I can't be in a situation where I need mobile data etc and its dead

I really did get annoyed the other day when it occurred to me as well. How many reception/signal bars is your device shown? I am getting 0, but able to actually surf making use of 3G(forcing), could also be a network/transmission problem on MTN side as well.

I have never once asked for my sim card to be reset but I find this a little disturbing that a session can remain open still.

@lino @rph72 could possibly be a transmission/network problem on MTN side as you both are from Cape Town, probably in the same area.
 
Yes, I have to revert to expensive Vodacom data to have all these issues resolved.
 
On Mobile 2 I have forced 3G (mifi) and mobile 3 in my 3G router. I'm not in a 3G area but it worked well most of the time.

That shouldn't be the case. We're not sure if MTN could be trying some changes on their side that might be interfering with our data management. We've escalated the incidents at a very senior level - it's not acceptable to have these drops in connection.

Tomorrow is a public holiday - possibly too many users are currently connected to the same base station as you and the signal is deteriorating/becoming weaker :(

Demand/Usage is a factor - but you shouldn't lose connectivity and be unable to connect again. We're still investigating to find the cause of this issue :(

Absolutely agree. The whole point of mobile data is getting connectivity (even if it's 2G) pretty much everywhere you go. If you're stuck in Outer Mongolia (not literally though) you need to know that if there's coverage - you'll get some connectivity.

We're investigating this urgently, but please PM me at ANY time if you have a drop in connectivity and I can try and resolve from my side :(

Huawei E367 from 8ta + Netgear MBRN 3000 which is currently showing a red light. :rolleyes:

We're not yet supplying routers with 3G failover as yet, so we don't officially support them. For now, we supply the Huwawei E5331 MiFi device
