Quick question, my sim card arrived, its in my iPad - when I turned it on, it was already pulling data down, before I changed the APN - how does that work?

Changed the APN now - so lets see how it goes.

That's weird, was it not connected to WiFi in the background maybe?
 
Other than that - seems the same as my 8ta sim - hopefully the coverage is better :p

Is the coverage the same as what MTN would cover?
 
For some reason my LTE hasn't been working now for 2 days. HSDPA works fine however. Can't connect via LTE at all anymore.

Power scheduled to be out tonight between 6 and 9 (one thing that Eskom seems to have kept their promise on), and my Mifi is the only thing keeping me connected.

Hmm... So that deal with Telkom - does that mean that AH customers could potentially roam on Telkom mobile? :D
 
So my LTE is working again. But wow, I got horrible support from Afrihost. The person doesn't read my support queries.

I got this today:
"Good Day

I trust that you are well, please note that I have requested your SIM to be LTE enabled, kindly allow 2-24 hours for activation"

After I complained about my LTE that used to work and for the last week it hasn't. :( And I got this message after my LTE started working again. In fact it took over a day to get a reply.
 
Same thing happened to me, LTE stopped working, got the same reply,
an hour later started working again. Asked how a SIM becomes un-provisioned for LTE.
Needless to say, no reply..
 
What's the cheapest mobile package with afrihost that comes with an LTE-ready mifi device?
 
Anyone know what the <DATA> + <DATA> entails? I have the 1GB + 1GB, and it only shows 1GB available via their site?

I was relieved of my car, laptop and tablet amongst other things during a house invasion this morning.
My account with Afrihost was suspended.
After explaining to them what happened they restored my services was restored immediately.
Unfortunately has put all the computers of.
So far I could not track anything.
Thank you for your assistance Afrihost.
It is appreciated.
