Hi AfriGuy,

I am on the mobile 2 package - 2GB plus 3GB free - i take it from 1st July this is changing to 2GB free?

This is a bit low for me and would like to know if i can upgrade my account to mobile 3 package before the end of this month?

From a perspective of the upgrade being possible (not cancelling) and the free data still being included till December...

The change will come in at the end of December 2014.
 
This shouldn't be a problem, I've seen clients with more than two SIMs per account so it's possible :)

Just to be clear, I'd be able to get another sim, and use the data from one account?

So basically, my iPad has a sim, and my car has a sim.

Both use data from one Afrihost account?

This will save me a lot of headaches if possible - I can just upgrade the one account to higher data than try and juggle the two accounts.

Ah sorry, I must have misread your post :(
Sharing data between SIMs isn't possible just yet.
 
Just a heads-up: The support ticket system is a bit bust on the user side. It says that it's submitting a ticket, then just returns to the form. No indication that the ticket is there. If you refresh the page it still says you have no tickets. But the support request was sent, as witnessed by some poor support agent getting six of the same request from me. This was in Firefox and Chrome.

Are you submitting this over the support website or via ClientZone?

If you just email [email protected] it achieves the same, but will look into this ASAP. Please PM so I can also verify.
 
I updated my Galaxy note 3 to 4.4.2.... now my afrihost data stopped working :-0. I reset my phone... still off :-(
 
Yo Afriguy... I have cancelled all my Afrihost accounts due to financial constraints (hospital bills etc)... but as soon as I have paid off the bills, I'll gladly sign up again.

Can a deactivated SIM be reactivated, or must I order new SIM's?

Sorry to hear that dude, hope you get better soon!
We can't re-activate a cancelled SIM - have you looked at pausing the product at all? It won't bill you but will keep it active for up to 6 months.
 
I'm getting an error message trying to upgrade my 3+4, have submitted a support ticket but need to get this changed today...
